Growing up in a real estate household piqued Katie's interest in the industry. "I have always been interested in real estate, architecture, and urban planning.”My mother is a real estate broker and I grew up watching her sell houses and help people find their dream homes. I always knew that someday I would follow in her footsteps," said Katie.

Katie's background is in the service industry. Prior to venturing into real estate, Katie was a Catering Manager at a large downtown hotel. The skill set she developed while working with clients helped sharpen her customer service skills. "I am very detail-oriented, and have perfected the art of listening to clients' needs," says Katie. Katie's enthusiasm and work ethic shine through her positive attitude.  Katie transitioned into real estate very easily, and in her first year, handled $4 million in sales. She has experience with condos, single family homes, multi-unit buildings, and townhomes.  Katie has been quoted in Crain's Chicago Business and Chicago Agent Magazine.  She is a contributor to The Chicago 77 Website: A Comprehensive Guide To Chicago Neighborhoods.

Katie is a great resource of Chicago neighborhoods and their history. "I know the city well, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge with my clients," said Katie. She works in many neighborhoods throughout the city, including River North, Roscoe Village, North Center, Old Town, Gold Coast, Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Bucktown, Wicker Park, River West, Ukrainian Village, Printers Row, Streeterville, West Loop, Edgewater, Ravenswood, Uptown, Ravenswood Manor, South Loop, Beverly, McKinley Park, Bridgeport, and Mt. Greenwood.

A native of the South Side, Katie is a life-long resident of Chicago, with the exception of the 4 years she spent obtaining a degree from the University of Wisconsin- Madison. Her free time is spent with family and friends traveling and enjoying everything Chicago has to offer. Katie stays active in the community by volunteering at Misericordia Home, and as a member of Junior League of Chicago.  Katie is always interested in taking on new buyers and sellers. "The best part of my job is knowing that I negotiated the best terms for my clients, and seeing the happiness on their faces", said Katie."
